Household linen, kitchen and bath towels are provided. The beds will be freshly made up before you arrive. You’ll also have some surprises in store to welcome you: you’ll find toiletries in the bathrooms and a little gourmet gift basket in the kitchen. Other services are also available on demand when you reserve.
The villa is in an extremely quiet spot directly on the oceanfront. It has a great view overlooking the sea, the Ile de Re and its bridge: a must! The little port of the Le Plomb and its smattering of typical seafood restaurants is just a short walk away. The village of L’Houmeau is 5 minutes away from the villa and has everything you may need in the way of local shops, supermarkets, bakeries, cafes, and more. You can get to La Rochelle in 10-15 min. by car, or by bike on the bicycle path. The town is famous for its “Vieux Port”, its casual, laid-back atmosphere, and its many cultural activities. The Ile de Re is also nearby: you can cross the bridge to get there either on foot, or by bike. There are plenty of things to do in the surrounding area, among them sailing and various other water sports, or a round of golf, as there are two golf courses close to the property.
