Location à Paris de l'appartement "Rue des Dames Townhouse" pour 6 personnes
The good life
It could be the friendly pavement cafes. It could be cultured open air markets. Or it could be the little parks where the pétanque players roll their boules beneath sun-speckled plane trees. But there’s something about Batignolles that Paris’s bourgeois bohemians, or bobos, rather love.
And who’s to say that something isn’t rue des Dames? Along a narrow, lively street a-bustle with character, this modern home is all lovely light and space. The ceilings are sky-high, the palette cloud-bright and, prettiest of all, you’ve a patio bearded by olive trees and bamboo. Modern, minimalist and temptingly close to Montmartre? We think any bobo might blush with envy.
Happy days
Your hosts have called Batignolles home for many a year, and just adore its lifestyle. Music lovers both, they have two children.
Easy living
Hidden beyond an alley of green leaves, this home is the happiest of discoveries. Such is the beauty of the olive trees and steepling bamboo, you may head inside with a heavy heart. But there’s no need. Thanks to the huge windows, sitting room and patio may as well be one, and you’ve daylight to dazzle every corner. Flump across the sofa’s flamboyant cushions, flick the wall-mounted TV into life or just eye up the interiors. All clean lines and pared back palette, this really is minimalism at its most marvellous. The kitchen is spacious, and stylish, enough to appease all appetites – the only question is whether to dine inside, or à deux on the patio.
You’ll marvel at the angular stairs, and won’t stop until you’ve looked long and appreciatively at the vinyl-lined shelves upstairs. The master is an uncluttered canvas of calm, and there’s an avant-garde quality to the grey and cerise of the child bedroom. You’ve also the sweetest baby’s room, a delightfully designer bathroom and a shower room that’s sparklingly up-to-the-minute.
Go forth and prosper
Do as the bobos do and begin the day with a sticky pastry and strong morning coffee in a cafe along the rue des Dames. From there you can rummage the stalls at rue de Lévis market, make for the Pathé cinema at the place de Clichy or practise your pétanque at the blissful square des Batignolles. Montmartre’s iconic cobbles are close at hand, and you can be living the city lifestyle in no time. The Métro from place de Clichy to Châtelet takes less than twenty minutes.
